5-Day Fly-in Double Gorilla Experience

Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe International Airport :

  • Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your booked hotel in Entebbe.
  • Optional activities around Entebbe like local market or fish market visits to experience Uganda's urban culture.
  • Accommodation: Best Western Premier
  • Meal Plan: Dinner

Day 2: Flight Transfer – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park :

  • Morning: Early domestic flight from Entebbe to Kisoro airstrip over Lake Victoria, central plains, and Virunga Volcanoes.
  • Afternoon: Buniga Forest Trail walk (approx. 3 hrs) to experience Batwa people's cultural tales and survival skills.
  • Accommodation: Orugano Bwindi Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park :

  • Morning: Gorilla trekking with ranger guides and porters (4-7 hours trek).
  • Evening: Sundowner and campfire activities.
  • Accommodation: Orugano Bwindi Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 4: Gorilla Habituation Experience :

  • Early morning start for gorilla habituation experience.
  • 4 hours observation of gorillas' day-to-day behaviors.
  • Evening: Sundowner and campfire activities.
  • Accommodation: Orugano Bwindi Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 5: Depart – Entebbe International Airport :

  • Morning: Transfer to Kisoro Airstrip for flight to Entebbe.
  • Day room provided for freshening up before international flight.
  • Accommodation: Papyrus Guesthouse (day room)
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch
