8 Days Primates & Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Transfer & Bigodi Swamp Walk - Kibale Forest National Park :

  • Morning: Arrival at Entebbe airport and transfer to western Uganda through Mityana and Mubende districts. Stop at Nakayima Ancestral Tree.
  • Afternoon: Check-in at lodge and Bigodi swamp walk to observe primates and bird species.
  • Accommodation: Turaco Treetops
  • Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer – Queen Elizabeth National Park :

  • Morning: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest (2-3 hours total)
  • Afternoon: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
  • Accommodation: Engiri Game Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 3: Game drive & Boat Safari - Queen Elizabeth National Park :

  • Morning: Game drive in Kasenyi plains to spot big cats and elephants
  • Afternoon: Kazinga channel boat cruise for wildlife viewing
  • Accommodation: Engiri Game Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 4: En-route game drive – Ishasha Sector :

  • Morning: Drive to Ishasha, southern Queen Elizabeth National Park
  • Afternoon: Sundowner game drive to spot tree climbing lions
  • Accommodation: Enjojo Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 5: Transfer – Nkuringo, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park :

  • Full day: Scenic drive through forest to Nkuringo
  • Optional forest walk available
  • Accommodation: Orugano Bwindi Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park :

  • Morning: Gorilla trekking with ranger guides (4-7 hours)
  • Evening: Sundowner and campfire activities
  • Accommodation: Orugano Bwindi Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 7: Golden Monkey Trekking – Mgahinga Gorilla National Park :

  • Morning: Drive to Mgahinga for golden monkey tracking
  • Afternoon: Return to lodge for relaxation
  • Accommodation: Lake Chahafi Resort
  • Meal Plan: Full Board

Day 8: Transfer & Genocide Memorial Center – Kigali International Airport :

  • Morning: Drive to Kigali
  • Afternoon: Visit Genocide Memorial Center before departure
  • Accommodation: N/A
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch
