9-Days Primates & Wildlife Holiday

Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe International Airport :

  • Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your booked hotel in Entebbe.
  • Optional activities around Entebbe like local market or fish market visits to experience Uganda's urban culture.

Day 2: Transfer – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park :

  • Early morning pickup at 6:30 am for 9-hour drive to Nkuringo, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
  • Stops include traditional drum-making artists and equator for photos.
  • Final 1.5-hour drive on dirt road with spectacular landscape views.
  • Accommodation: Orugano Bwindi Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park :

  • Morning gorilla trek with ranger guides and porters (4-7 hours).
  • Evening sundowner and campfire activities.
  • Accommodation: Orugano Bwindi Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4: Gorilla Habituation Experience :

  • Early morning start for gorilla habituation experience.
  • 4 hours observation of gorillas' day-to-day behaviors.
  • Evening sundowner and campfire activities.

  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5: Nkuringo-Buhoma Long Walk & Transfer – Queen Elizabeth National Park :

  • 8:00 am start on Kashasha Trail or Ivy River Trail.
  • Wildlife viewing opportunities including butterflies, birds, forest elephants, and more.
  • Packed lunch in forest rest hut.
  • Transfer through Ishasha Savannah plains to spot tree-climbing lions.
  • Accommodation: Enjojo Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 6: Morning & Afternoon Game Drives – Ishasha Sector :

  • Full day game drive in Ishasha area.
  • Spot buffalo, elephant, Uganda Kob and tree-climbing lions.
  • Late afternoon sundowner inside the park.
  • Accommodation: Enjojo Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 7: Bush Breakfast & Boat Safari – Queen Elizabeth National Park :

  • Special wilderness breakfast in Ishasha.
  • Game drive through fig tree area searching for tree-climbing lions.
  • Afternoon boat trip on Kazinga Channel to view wildlife and birds.
  • Accommodation: Engiri Game Lodge
  • Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 8: Chimpanzee Trekking & Evening Game Drive :

  • Morning chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge.
  • Optional evening game drive.

Day 9: Flight Transfer - Entebbe International Airport :

  • Early morning flight to Entebbe airport.
